Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your BanjaraHub account and what happens to your data. BanjaraHub is a matrimony platform for the Banjara community, published by BanjaraHub (app ID com.banjarahub).

Delete from the website

1. Sign in at banjarahub.com/login with your mobile number.
2. Go to My Account.
3. Under Settings, choose Delete my account and confirm.

Delete from the Android app

1. Open the BanjaraHub app and sign in.
2. Open the side menu and tap your profile.
3. Tap Delete Profile and confirm.

If you can't sign in

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer access your number, email connect@banjarahub.com from any address, with the mobile number on the account. We verify ownership before deleting, and complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no recovery or grace period, and we cannot restore an account once it is gone. The following are erased:

• Your login, mobile number, and account record.
• Your matrimony profile, partner preferences, and uploaded photos.
• Interests you sent or received, shortlists, and your conversations and messages.
• Your credit wallet, credit history, and saved device/notification tokens.
• Any marketplace listings and cart items.

What we keep

A small amount of data outlives the account, permanently detached from you — your name, number, and profile are not part of it, and it cannot be traced back to you:

• Purchase and order records, kept with the buyer field emptied. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain proof of a transaction; we keep the record, not the person.
• Anonymous usage events, kept with the user field emptied, for aggregate statistics.

Encrypted infrastructure backups may hold residual copies for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten on a rolling basis. A photo that was already loaded may also linger in a content-delivery or browser cache for a short time after deletion, even though the file itself is gone.

Delete your data but keep your account

If you only want to leave the matrimony search rather than delete everything, open My Account → Settings and choose Hide. Your profile disappears from browse and search, and no other member can find you, but your account and login stay active so you can return later. You can also edit or remove individual details and photos at any time from your account page.
