BanjaraHub is built for the Banjara community with trust and safety at its core. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Who We Are

BanjaraHub is operated by BanjaraHub (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India. Our app provides matrimonial services, a community marketplace (Banjara Bazar), and community connect features exclusively for the Banjara community.

2. Information We Collect

When you use BanjaraHub, we may collect the following:

Account information — name, mobile number, date of birth, gender
Profile information — photos (up to 6), gotra, location, education, occupation, family details
Community & Bazar information — product listings, purchase history, community posts
Communication data — messages sent between users within the app
Device information — device type, OS version, app version, IP address
Usage data — features used, profiles viewed, time spent in app

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your profile on the platform
To suggest relevant matrimonial matches based on your preferences
To enable buying and selling on Banjara Bazar
To power Community Connect features — events, posts, and connections
To send notifications about matches, messages, and activity
To verify your identity and prevent fraud
To improve the app based on usage patterns

4. Payments

All payments within BanjaraHub — for premium memberships or Banjara Bazar transactions — are processed by Razorpay, India's most trusted payment gateway. We do not store your card or UPI details. Payment data is governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following situations:

With other users — your public profile (photos, name, age, location) is visible to other BanjaraHub members as part of the matrimonial and community experience
Service providers — trusted third parties who help us operate the app (e.g., cloud storage, analytics, payment processing)
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, or deletion.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent for optional data processing

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, your profile, photos, and messages will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

BanjaraHub is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via SMS. Continued use of BanjaraHub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
